Let's face it. Mario games should have a "12 and under" sticker on them. I'm 10, and I still find this fun. However, I can tell I'll move on to casino games by the time I'm casino age.
The score itself of the GI review throws me off, but most everything else I agree with. Like Mario & Sonic, this barely resembles the characters in it. That alone makes "Mario & Sonic" games seem like junk food marketing. Throw entertaining characters into something crappy (Wii Sports Baseball) , make it even harder to handle, and make no attempt to back kids out of it.
Every time, the kids come running, and paying too. And they do end up sick(or in this case, addicted), time after time.
Bottom line: The main thing about this game is marketing.
